Horseback Riding
This is a trial ride. You ride through the wood. Trails wind along the French Creek, dirt roads, wooded areas and streams. Their specialty is teaching safe, effective skills and proper riding.
Event is posted here to gauge interest. Date is tentative. Once we have enough interest we will call and confirm the date.
If we get a group of 10+, we can get the group rates as follows (Rates are from last year - may change):
1 hour: $28 per rider
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE GRATUITY ($5/person)
I will be collecting tip, we should tip $5 since we usually have a big group and they always give us great group rates and special attention.
Note about kids:
If your child is 5 or UNDER, they can ride in front of you on the same horse. However, there is only a limited number of spot for this, and the child will count as half price ($14). You need to let us know if anyone under 18 years is riding. Also you need to let us know if the total weight on the horse is going to be more than 200lbs.
Otherwise, your child must go on his/her own horse, and will be charged full price. Usually, one of the staff will have the child tether to a staff horse, so you child doesn't need to control the horse, but he/she still has to be able to sit on a horse without freaking out. You must let me know if you want to do either of these two options since there are only a limited number of horses available.

Need your help. I have added payment option for this event via paypal. Could you please make your payment today or tomorrow if possible. We need to pay the advance and give the exact count to confirm horses. Cost (group rate + paypal fees) is $29.15 per person. You can go to the event and pay. Guys, I really need your help here. The farm owner is going on vacation last two weeks of April and we need to get the forms and payment in before that. Your payment is important for group rate. You can pay here on meetup, paypal payment is enabled for the event. If anyone would like to pay by check please email me for details. I didnt post the event. I am trying to help organize it. I do need your help on payment to make this event happen.

To pay using paypal just click on your RSVP, an option to pay via meetup or paypal will appear, select paypal & it should link you to your account. It takes less than 2 minutes to complete.

JudyAlthough I admit I was nervous about being around horses for the first time in twenty-four years, I had a wonderful time. Even though I didn't know anything about riding a horse, I had a blast! Thank you for setting up this event! It was so fun to be partnered with a receptive horse for the first time in my life.
